Roman Market

A tour designed to showcase Rome’s finest open-air food markets, visiting locally known food stores, quaint and authentic bakeries as well as one of the most famous delicatessens, dating back to the 1870s. Savour some typical Roman specialties and sample local wines, while enjoying the beauty of the art and history of different sites.

This is the perfect introduction to a side of Rome that tourists do not often see, discovering corners off the beaten track, and culinary delights only known to locals. Samples typically include “Pizza Bianca” a simple pizza with olive oil and salt, as well as local artisan breads, cheeses and salamis. These are accompanied by samples of wine and prosecco. Ending in a true Italian style, these delicious treats are followed up by a gelato and coffee.

The more relaxed atmosphere of this tour gives you the opportunity to chat with your guide about the culinary and other cultural traditions of Italians in order to gain a better understanding of Italian
culture.

The tour lasts 3 to 4 hours and costs:
Up to 2 people €390 with wine and food sample
Up to 4 people €440 with wine and food sample
Up to 6 people €480 with wine and food sample.
For parties larger than 6 people, prices are on request. Samples may vary according to the time and season.
We suggest for the tour to begin at noon so that you can truly experience an authentic Roman lunch with the locals.
